You will gain the relevant skills to provide nursing and rehabilitation assistance to patients under the supervision of licensed health care professionals such as physicians and nurses.
You can choose to work with the elderly, people with disabilities or assist in hospitals – public or private practice.
Tasks will vary depending on the type of facility you work in, albeit you might:
• Keep work areas and patients’ rooms clean and tidy – change bed linen, prepare and serve meals

Entry requirement:
Two (2) ‘O’ level credits and three (3) passes in either:
1. Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE)
2. National Examination Commission (NECO)
3. General Certificate of Education (GCE)
Candidates wishing to undergo this course must possess credits in English and Biology/Health science, and passes in any other (3) three subjects, be it in science, commercial or humanities/art, at not more than two (2) sittings.
Auxiliary nurses and health attendants with lesser qualifications, but with 3 years working experience in a hospital will be considered.
