Entry requirement:
Five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes in either:
1. Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE)
2. National Examination Commission (NECO)
3. General Certificate of Education (GCE)
Candidates wishing to undergo this course must possess credits in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, at not more than two (2) sittings.

A community health extension worker graduate can proceed to become a Community Health Officer or go via direct entry to the university for a BSc degree in Community Health or Public Health.
